Our transition bases are designed from the ground up by our engineers,  all the while working  closely with our customers. We can provide you with a vibration-free, rigid, drop-in transition base to get your process up and running again. All bases are built to exacting standards. Top and bottom plates and surfaces are machined to within 0.005" of an inch of parallel, and to 0.005" of foot flatness. All bases have API adjusting pockets and are epoxy painted. These bases can usually be manufactured in about 2 to 6 working days. We have manufactured transition bases with up to 30 inches difference from the original motor shaft height. Transition Base Customers GE 6500 HP 1800 RPM Frame 6369Z adapted to Siemens 7000 HP 1800 RPM Frame 8012S. This base was pressure-grouted and stress relieved to reduce deflection and vibration.
